SLPL Official team logos
The official launch of the SLC’s inaugural SLPL T /20 cricket tournament which is scheduled to commence on the 10th August was officially launched at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel in Colombo.
The official logos were launched and displayed at the launching ceremony.
Official team names and captains would be as follows
- Basnahira Cricket Dundi: Tillekeratna Dilshan
- Kandurata Warriors: Kumar Sangakkara
- Ruhunu Royals: Lasith Malinga
- Negenahira Nagas: Angelo Mathews
- Uthura Rudras: Muttiah Muralidharan
- Uva Next: Chris Gale
- Wyamba United: Mahela Jayawardena.
