Nimal Lakshapathiarachchi passes away
Senior radio and television personality Nimal Lakshapathiarachchi has passed away this morning (20) at private hospital.
It is mentioned that he had suddenly taken ill and had been admitted to a private hospital in Colombo.
He also known as a key role of changing television industry and visionary of the radio industry in Sri Lankan history.
he was a proficient in digital media.
He was 58 years at the time of his death.

It was a pleasure working with him between 1977 and 1982 in the SLBC
What a talented man he was. He changed the old look of tradional media scene to a more modern one to compete with other countries
